I’ve never been an artist who waits for someone else to produce my work. Instead, I make it myself.
I founded Plastic Flamingo Theatre Company with my University of Miami classmates. Armed with big dreams and about five dollars in our pockets, we produced new plays in multiple off-off Broadway venues and festivals.
Living Room Playmakers was a playwrights collective that took advantage of the unique architecture in neighborhoods throughout Chicago. We developed and produced site-inspired plays in furniture stores, art galleries, churches, offices, and of course, living rooms.
Second Site is a company that emerged post-pandemic, using Living Room Playmakers as inspiration. Our work is nationwide and explores virtual playmaking and in-person experiences.
